Finding a song that was similar to the Pretender’s “I’m a Mother” was a bit of a challenge. I did conduct my own research into bands similar to the Pretenders. In my research I found this band called Ram Jam, and like the Pretenders, there is a focus on the instruments they use and simple uncomputerized vocals. Both Pretenders and Ram Jam are 70’s Rock bands, so they have a similar approach to music and aura.
